Apart from three campsites, I have planned the trip around Camping and Caravanning Club sites. Unfortunately a lot of the bookings was for a minimum of 2 nights, which actually changed the timeline of the trip as well as dropping a few sites due to the fact of not being able to stay 1 night.
I'm really looking forward to this for a couple of reasons, however I am a little bit apprehensive due to the length, going alone and money. Not so much spending money, as I have that covered but as I'm self employed I need to make sure I can cover 2 months of overheads/outgoings before I go away. Worst part is earlier this year I have had issues with my van and that has cost me over £5k in repairs, fortunately I was able to get this covered on finance but still whilst I'm away that over £600 I need to cover plus the overheads.
Originally I was planning on going in June, but as my sone is getting married at the end of June I wanted to make sure I went away after, "just in case" something happens, not that it should, but I do like to have all eventualities covered.
So what's my preparation before I go???
Well the bike needs to be MOT'd before I go as it's due whilst I'm away, I also need to make sure the accounts are up to date as I will need to submit a VAT return and payroll at the end of June. I need to buy more gas and a few other bits but I think I'm there, I have a few new additions for the bike, which will be covered in another blog post once I have finished with the video's, but for now it's all looking good, lets just hope the weather stays nice.
