Culzean Castle was a nice place to visit, I did a far distance walking which is completely unusual for me.
The castle is situated over a clif and there are caves underneath which apparently one of the Marquise is rumoured to smuggle run etc from the sea and distribute it across the uk.
Being a typical plumber one tools some pics of interesting plumbing stuff, I was most impressed with the lean roof I saw as that was all dressed and not cut and welded.
There was even a Gas House where coal was burnt and converted to gas for heating and lighting. This situated on the shoreline and the Gas Manager lived next to it.
There was even a separate walk way between the Coah House and main building for the tradespersons and staff to use, so that the family and their guests would not see the staff, snobs ;-)
