The guy at the campsite recommended that I head to Barnard Castle and then down to Halwhistle as its a known and fun bikers route, so I updated My route-app with the way point and set off. Which wasn't great, as MyRouteapp didn't not update the carPlay device and I was just shown the whole route - Pathetic. So I ended up ditching myRouteapp and used Apple Maps to get me here. Unfortunately I ended up riding most of the way on the motorway.

Haltwhistle is a nice little clean campsite with plenty of hot water, it is a bit in the sticks, but is a nice place.

Power - we take it for granted, so I've got an Anker power bank that will charge my MacBook Pro M1, however using it to charge the phone and Insta360 batteries has now zapped everything from it, I only managed to get 30% charge on the MacBook, and tomorrow I'm staying at Culzean Castle for 2 nights without electric hook up. Cafe's are a good choice to get a little bit of charge however, the power bank will take at least 4 hours and I'm not particularly sure about the MacBook. But that's a tomorrow issue. Given that I'm trying to conserve batteries, I'm not editing videos, well not for a few days at least.

Dinner tonight was almost the same as last night, Past N Sauce mix and a tin of meat, what meat I can't tell you, it could be what's on the label, but this is the UK and who knows... Tomorrow maybe I'll find a Pub !!!
